Cabernet Sauvignion

Originally from Bordeaux, this grape variety is widespread in temperate zones around the world. In Italy it was introduced initially in the Triveneto area, spreading later to other areas, especially geographical zones with thermal accumulations. Cabernet Sauvignon derives from a spontaneous cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon.
